i need is a peer-to-peer On-Demand Services marketplace that is launching soon – initially in the Merseyside area. The app has been designed to meet the established needs of freelancers and microbusinesses who provide various local services to time-poor consumers who truly value convenience.
Our dual-purpose App allows anyone to search for and book a service, as well as create a Service Provider profile to offer their own services to their local community. The app is interactive: it provides an end-to-end process from finding a service provider to making payments. We’ve designed it to benefit all users. We’ll further enhance it with both our own ideas and more importantly with input from our service provider and consumer communities
For Consumer it’s about ease-of use and real convenience, being able search for and review available Service Providers who are local and prepared are prepared to travel to and/or carry out a service in a location of convenience.
From the outset, our goal has been to empower individuals who wish to set up local, low-value services and to support existing service providers who wish to significantly improve their productivity (earnings). The i need marketplace provides them with the tools to build visibility in their local communities, to be booked for their time and skills, and to increase their productivity by onboarding their customers (Consumers) to use the i need App to book and communicate with them: all “in-app”. Simplifying the process and removing unnecessary engagement and queries, no phone calls, no texting, no WhatsApps, no interruptions.
We have balanced the researched needs of both the provider and consumer communities in order to ensure a “win-win”. We believe that this will oil the wheels of the burgeoning gig economy.
We are a North West based tech start-up. We have designed and built an easy to use On-Demand Services mobile App platform to help Consumers find and book Service Providers, whilst helping Service Providers to set-up or grow their business.
In order to achieve these goals, we will actively seek comments and ideas from both our Service Provider and Consumer communities to help us continuously improve the platform’s functionality and preferred services by location.
